Getting a clear image under 20 KB

20 KB is very little space: a typical phone photo is 100 to 200 times larger. To fit, the image has to become much smaller in pixels, not just lower in quality. The tool does this automatically, but you will get a sharper result if you help it:

  • Crop tightly around your face or signature before compressing.
  • Enter the pixel size the form asks for (for example 140 × 60 px for a signature) in the optional max size fields.
  • Use a plain background. Flat white areas cost almost nothing; busy backgrounds eat the size budget.

Sign with a thick dark pen on white paper, photograph it straight on in daylight, crop to the signature, then compress here. High contrast lines stay readable even at small sizes.
